I gain much of my inspiration from many experiences around me. Living in the city I am constantly surrounded by various images moods and senses and gain a constant influx of experiences from my every day commutes. I am often out in dark hours affecting the way I view the city. Many of my concepts revolve around human involvement or character. People are constantly surrounded in what they create for themselves and the constant cyclical motions sometimes interrupted, play a big part in the way people live their life. This idea fascinates me. How people’s lives are all so very different and affected by so many factors and ultimately grow into who they are. As an artist fully engulfed in these many images and ideas I am constantly expanding my form of expression. I have always enjoyed and been fascinated by peoples interactions between each other and themselves. Every individual stands in a journey of exploration and growth. The current work that I’m doing revolves around people’s position and relativity towards each other. The works are disillusioned with a sense of loneliness even though they are fully immersed in human characteristics. These works reconnoiter movement and are very expressive to the way people live their lives. The warm colors contrasted with the bright lights create a form of hierarchy between the man made and the natural, changing the way people view their environment. Every person has an effect on the world around them. A mere alternation of contextual position through the intake of experience. A position and significance in a journey shared by humanity and finally a window to look though being the different ways we share ideas.
